25 Things

This was something I posted on my Facebook the other day. Just thought I share it on AnD too.

RULE: Once you've been tagged you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you it's because I want to know more about you.

To do this, go to "Notes" under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app then click publish..

1. I love catching matinee showings of a movies by myself. I like not having someone poke me or tell me how hot someone is on screen. Of course, there are movies that I know I have to watch with friends or else the experience just isn't the same.

2. I hate it. I absolutely hate it when I send an Evite or email out about something and I don't get a response until a day or two before the actual event. It's especially irritating when that one or two people decide that they want to change the plan as if they think that everyone's schedule revolves around them. That might not be there intent, but it sure as hell seems like it.

3. I like reading chic lit. It's light, funny, and doesn't depress me like non-fiction.

4. I feel really awkward and uncomfortable meeting groups of people at a time. I can never remember anyone's names and I just can't think of anything to say. I prefer to meet people one at a time. So don't invite me to go anywhere with groups of people that I don't know. The answer is going to be "NO" 90% of the time.

5. I don't like it when people get me skin products or make-up for my birthday or Christmas. Chances of me using it is zero. Just because you might see me using one particular product, doesn't mean I'll be using the same thing again when it runs out.

6. I learned the bulk of my Chinese from watching Mandarin and Cantonese drama and I am quite proud of that. So I do in fact get offended when someone makes fun of the fact that Chinese drama is a part of my entertainment list. Is it my fault that you're incapable of retaining a second language to actually appreciate watching something without English subtitles? And Yes that is exactly what I'm thinking.

7. I love my IASP and high school (well some and I'm sure you know who you are) friends more than anything in the world. That might change in the future. Right at this moment I'm thankful that I have all of them in my life, even if some of them are kinda far away.

8. I don't like it when people call me on the phone and have absolutely nothing to say.

9. I've been trying to lost the extra 15lbs on my body since second semester of studying abroad in HK. Sometimes I think that subconsciously I don't want to lose the weight because I'm pretty sure the first thing I'll lose is my cup size.

10. Anytime there is a dramatic change in weather, my skin starts to itch.

11. I truly believe that my best features are my eyes and eyebrows. I don't ever plan to let someone that is not a professional get anywhere near them with make-up. As for anyone that likes to pretend to poke at my eyes, I will break his/her fingers. I will not apologize afterwards.

12. I have two scars on my chest that I wish would just disappear into thin air.

13. I'm definitely not the type of girl to ask a guy out on a date. I truly believe the guy should do the asking. I don't care what day and age we're in. I refuse to be the modern woman in this field.

14. The #1 reason for why I don't drink all too often is because my skin tone turns this ugly shade of purple red. I don't care what anyone says about it being normal for a lot of Asian. I just don't want my face turning that color.

15. I love kids, but sometimes they scare me. I have no idea what to do with one that is crying.

16. I can swim but I can't float or tread water. Don't ask me why. Maybe one day I'll pick it up.

17. I love vampire books and movies. When I was a kid I wanted to grow up to be a vampire.

18. People always ask me if I'm dating someone or if there is a guy I'm interested in. I always say "no" whether there is or isn't. I may spill secrets about other things or other people, but this is one thing that I've been successful up to this point to keep on a down low. I will share once things are solid.
