This past weekend, I went snowboarding in Mammoth with some friends. I had planned this trip early in January without thinking about the fact that there could be a blizzard or rough winds that might prevent us from actually going. Luckily, everything worked out perfectly. The weather was perfect. The snow was great. The condo I rented was pretty awesome too. It was clean and came stocked with everything that I was afraid was going to run out. It was basically like living in a hotel but much more cozy. The whole place sleeps about 10 and it was only $280/night, so my expectations were pretty low. I didn't even expect the place to have heat running the whole night.

Snowboarding was awesome. We spent all day Saturday snowboarding. I'm not that good, in fact, I kinda suck, so I only did five runs. I kept getting stuck and losing momentum at the flat areas. At least this time around, I was able to get off the lift with ease and not fall on my face like last year and the year before that. Afterwards, my whole body ached. I could barely move. My new boots were hurting my feet since I haven't broken them in yet. I was sore all over. It was basically same feeling I had after my first time snowboarding. Luckily, it didn't take me quite as long to recover.

Sunday, on the way back to LA, we stopped by this really tasty bakery in Bishop, a little town about 30 minutes outside of Mammoth. I had the best orange juice and chili cheese dinner rolls ever. I don't think they specialize in dinner rolls, but I just so happened to pick a pack out because it would be easier to eat in the car. It was to die for. I also picked up two loaves of chili cheese and baked onion bread. I've been eating it for breakfast all week. So yummy. I must go back for more.

Yesterday someone sent me this really funny video. I really shouldn't be laughing at the kid, but it's just so funny.

oh... sounds like fun... =) I have never been snowboarding before.. but I think I'll stick with bowling... hahaa...

The kid was high. lol.

So you finally used that pretty snowboard. Did all your friends also snowboard? I think I've passed the age allowable for picking up that sport. haha. I'm not really a snow bunny.

Take it easy on the bread. Sure sounds yummy though.

Super straight forward and blunt. I'm the friend that tells you that you look like sh*t at the end of a long day at work (and then I help you fix your hair). I can be pretty intimidating, but everyone around me knows that I'm one of the nicest people they'll ever meet. I can talk to anyone, anywhere, on just about anything that comes to my mind at the moment. I'm a Cancer so I can get along with practically anyone. At this moment in life, I can say that the smartest decision I ever made was to study abroad in Hong Kong, where all I did was shop, eat, party, and travel for a year (but don't tell my parents that). I'm super addicted to girly books (I love Sophie Kinsella) and was recently tricked into reading my first romance novel(it's like porn on books). I truly believe that I am destined to be a photographer, food critic, or an event planner, but somehow landed in banking and finance. I'm an impulsive shopper (last year I bought a PSP and now it's just sitting on my book shelf). I have a passion for food and I love trying new restaurants. I once told a friend "if we weren't working together we would never be friends because you can't eat garlic." My friends appreciate food. For some odd reason (I still haven't figured out what) I have the shortest attention span when it comes to the guys I date. I can be staring at my cell phone when it rings, but I'll never pick it up. I'm addicted to buying Chinese DVDs. I'm allergic to lychee, but I eat it anyways. I can't stand pretentious people, I rather respect you for your b*tchy a**hole selves. I learned how to read and speak Mandarin by watching tv. I once told a Congressmen to get off my seat at a conference in capitol hill. I'm not on facebook.
