Happy Holidays! Gosh...feels like it has been weeks since I last typed an entry on AnD. Did I miss anything? I've been lazy to turn on my ibook and since I got my bberry now I usually just check my email on that thing. It has been kinda glitchy lately, but still very useful. I love the keypad. It's great!

Last weekend I had an early holiday lunch with a couple of my girlfriends. We went to Sweet Divas Cottage (Bistro?) in Brea. It was a cute little cottage looking place that served incredibly tasty scones and had a really long list of tea flavors available. So I just spent a couple of hours catching up with my friends.

I had another holiday party to go to that night in the OC, so after lunch, I went to my friend's apartment in Newport for a couple of hours. Guess what? I watched the first episode of "Lost" and now I'm so addicted. I spent every day for the last week watching the first three seasons and I just started on the fourth season. Does anyone else like it? I've decided I really hate Locke. He is just getting on my last nerve. My "Lost" addiction is also part of the reason I haven't turned on my ibook for the last week.

I just heard the most bizarre story on Christmas Day. I was at dim sum with some relatives and my mom's cousin told us that his ten year old daughter told her teacher that he hits her. He doesn't. So guess what the teacher does? She calls child services. They go to their house, interrogates the daughter, the son, the parents, and the grandma for three hours. Afterwards, the parents had to take both their kids to the doctor for a physical examination. The case is close because it was obviously a misunderstanding, but now the dad has a record. How sad is that? The daughter was at dim sum too and she started to cry because her dad and mom were telling all of us about what she did. I know it must be really embarrassing for her, but I still don't think she grasp the seriousness of what she did. If I were the parents I would've sent her to live with their relatives in China a long time ago. She told her grandma that she was going to kill her . She comes over to my house and she goes snooping around my room and my sister's room. This child is out of control. I feel bad for the parents. tl

omg. That child is a brat and trouble. And she's only 10! Just think what other mess she'll get involved with in her teens. Oh man! I sympathize.

I love those lemon bars. Those look delicious.

Kid sounds like a sociopath in training. Now would be a really great time to get her psychological help, before she branches out when she's not under her parents' control.

hmm... yea that kid is outta control... something going on in that little mind... hopefully she'll change as she grows older otherwise, it'd be scary to imagine what she will think up in that mind of her's... *eek*

Super straight forward and blunt. I'm the friend that tells you that you look like sh*t at the end of a long day at work (and then I help you fix your hair). I can be pretty intimidating, but everyone around me knows that I'm one of the nicest people they'll ever meet. I can talk to anyone, anywhere, on just about anything that comes to my mind at the moment. I'm a Cancer so I can get along with practically anyone. At this moment in life, I can say that the smartest decision I ever made was to study abroad in Hong Kong, where all I did was shop, eat, party, and travel for a year (but don't tell my parents that). I'm super addicted to girly books (I love Sophie Kinsella) and was recently tricked into reading my first romance novel(it's like porn on books). I truly believe that I am destined to be a photographer, food critic, or an event planner, but somehow landed in banking and finance. I'm an impulsive shopper (last year I bought a PSP and now it's just sitting on my book shelf). I have a passion for food and I love trying new restaurants. I once told a friend "if we weren't working together we would never be friends because you can't eat garlic." My friends appreciate food. For some odd reason (I still haven't figured out what) I have the shortest attention span when it comes to the guys I date. I can be staring at my cell phone when it rings, but I'll never pick it up. I'm addicted to buying Chinese DVDs. I'm allergic to lychee, but I eat it anyways. I can't stand pretentious people, I rather respect you for your b*tchy a**hole selves. I learned how to read and speak Mandarin by watching tv. I once told a Congressmen to get off my seat at a conference in capitol hill. I'm not on facebook.
