On our third day in Barbados, I was determined to speed over the waters on jet ski. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. We flipped through all of the brochures with jet ski advertisements, but they were all booked for the day. We asked our housekeeper, Rushelle, if she knew of any beaches where we can rent jet skis without making reservations and she suggested that we head over to Silver Sands Beach. So we hopped into our van and followed the map to Silver Sands Beach. Nothing. We found a resort and a tiny beach with a bunch of seaweed on the sands. The water was still clear and beautiful, but it was just too small. So we got back into our van and followed the map to the next beach up the east coast, Crane Beach.

I think out of all the beaches that we stopped by in Barbados, Crane Beach was my favorite. After trekking over this rocks (which was not that bad), I realized that there was another route to get to this beach. We could've parked at the resort and just taken the stairs down.

The water looked a little more blue here don't you think? I do. The waves were definitely bigger. I think the brochures describe the east coast being ideal for the more adventurous swimmers (and surfers?). Can you guess which one is me?

I only played in the water for a little bit. I spent most of the time sleeping under my umbrella.

After taking my small afternoon beach nap, I went to explore the ***** cliff. I forget the name.

Yes I am wearing my AnD cap for the first time. I found a bunch of these little shells (plankton?) snails things on the rocks. I snapped a pic just before I realized there were small little crabs crawling all over the place.

I'm not very good at swimming so I helped take pics (and videos) of my friends jumping off the cliff.

Can you see my friends in the water? I swear it looked like they were all going to sink in from where I was standing. I was actually a little nervous.

Right before we left, my friend Lena got distracted by a guy climbing up a tree to pick coconuts. The guy noticed that she was staring (wide-eyed) so he offered to give her one. Here I am about to take a sip of the coconut. It was good.

After we left the beach, we stopped by a fruit and vegetable to pick up some ingredients for our Memorial Day BBQ. We figured it would be cheaper than actually going to the store.

Lena and I cooked a really tasty squash and mango sauce to go with our tuna.

Branden grilled our steak dinner. It was nice and warm outside, so we decided to have a romantic Team Barbados dinner out in the patio.

The food was so good that we had a visitor from next door. Buster!!!

Super straight forward and blunt. I'm the friend that tells you that you look like sh*t at the end of a long day at work (and then I help you fix your hair). I can be pretty intimidating, but everyone around me knows that I'm one of the nicest people they'll ever meet. I can talk to anyone, anywhere, on just about anything that comes to my mind at the moment. I'm a Cancer so I can get along with practically anyone. At this moment in life, I can say that the smartest decision I ever made was to study abroad in Hong Kong, where all I did was shop, eat, party, and travel for a year (but don't tell my parents that). I'm super addicted to girly books (I love Sophie Kinsella) and was recently tricked into reading my first romance novel(it's like porn on books). I truly believe that I am destined to be a photographer, food critic, or an event planner, but somehow landed in banking and finance. I'm an impulsive shopper (last year I bought a PSP and now it's just sitting on my book shelf). I have a passion for food and I love trying new restaurants. I once told a friend "if we weren't working together we would never be friends because you can't eat garlic." My friends appreciate food. For some odd reason (I still haven't figured out what) I have the shortest attention span when it comes to the guys I date. I can be staring at my cell phone when it rings, but I'll never pick it up. I'm addicted to buying Chinese DVDs. I'm allergic to lychee, but I eat it anyways. I can't stand pretentious people, I rather respect you for your b*tchy a**hole selves. I learned how to read and speak Mandarin by watching tv. I once told a Congressmen to get off my seat at a conference in capitol hill. I'm not on facebook.
