So continuing on with my Barbados blog...

The next morning, I happily slept in until about 10. I woke up to find two of my friends making breakfast, just simple toast and scramble eggs (with a little bit of cheese and salsa). Eating out in Barbados is actually pretty expensive. I don't remember paying less than $25 for anything that went into my tummy. Ooh except for the fried chicken from Chefette, the local fast food chain. I think I could've ate that fried chicken for every meal.

After bumming it around our beautiful and comfy house for a couple of hours, we hopped into our van and decided to make our way north to Malibu Beach Resort for some fun jet skiing. Well guess what? It was closed! A beach resort closed on a Sunday? I don't understand. Oh wells. So we headed south again until we reached Rockley Beach.

We hopped out, rented a couple of big umbrellas and beach chairs and spent the rest of the afternoon basking in the sun and playing in the water. I was super paranoid about getting sun burned, so I rubbed on the sunblock like a mad woman. I kept reapplying every half an hour. I think that was the most relaxing afternoon I've had in a long time. I was a never a fan of the beach in California because it was dirty and crowded with people, but I was in love with the beach in Barbados.

Ooh...look what my friend found when she went exploring. A big fat ugly yellow worm. Two days later when I was snorkeling over some coral reefs, I spotted the same worm on the bottom of the ocean floor.

We finally pulled ourselves away from the beach when it started to get dark. I tried to take a good sunset pic, but ... well... I was preoccupied by other things.

Later on the evening, we headed back to St. Lawrence's Gap to have dinner. We decided to eat at Pisces, which was right by the water and they had a bigger menu and the prices were reasonable.

Luckily, the food was pretty tasty too. I ordered the flying fish. I don't know what the round little black things on top were, but they were crunchy and very yummy.

Unfortunately, my allergies started to act up a little before dinner time. It was getting worse and worse by the minute. So after just hanging out at this bar called McBride's for only an hour, I asked my friends if it was alright to call it an early night. Since my friends love me very much, we hopped back into our van and went home.

My friend Peian was really sweet. She boiled some water so that I can steam open my sinuses. I wasn't sure whether it would really work, but I tried it anyways. I did feel a little better afterwards. I love that my friends take care me. Yay for wonderful friends!!!

looks pretty... gonna agree, the beaches in SF isn't great at all... =( if it was, I'd be there whenever I can... hahaa...

beautiful pics of the beach too... ugly worm though! hehehe... (i hate worms!)...

your friend is very sweet and thoughtful. perhaps adding some eucalyptus oil to the steam inhalation would help open the nasal passages more to bring relief... =)

Super straight forward and blunt. I'm the friend that tells you that you look like sh*t at the end of a long day at work (and then I help you fix your hair). I can be pretty intimidating, but everyone around me knows that I'm one of the nicest people they'll ever meet. I can talk to anyone, anywhere, on just about anything that comes to my mind at the moment. I'm a Cancer so I can get along with practically anyone. At this moment in life, I can say that the smartest decision I ever made was to study abroad in Hong Kong, where all I did was shop, eat, party, and travel for a year (but don't tell my parents that). I'm super addicted to girly books (I love Sophie Kinsella) and was recently tricked into reading my first romance novel(it's like porn on books). I truly believe that I am destined to be a photographer, food critic, or an event planner, but somehow landed in banking and finance. I'm an impulsive shopper (last year I bought a PSP and now it's just sitting on my book shelf). I have a passion for food and I love trying new restaurants. I once told a friend "if we weren't working together we would never be friends because you can't eat garlic." My friends appreciate food. For some odd reason (I still haven't figured out what) I have the shortest attention span when it comes to the guys I date. I can be staring at my cell phone when it rings, but I'll never pick it up. I'm addicted to buying Chinese DVDs. I'm allergic to lychee, but I eat it anyways. I can't stand pretentious people, I rather respect you for your b*tchy a**hole selves. I learned how to read and speak Mandarin by watching tv. I once told a Congressmen to get off my seat at a conference in capitol hill. I'm not on facebook.
