GMAT, New Girl, and Spiders

It's been awhile since I wrote a blog entry...I know. I really haven't been doing much. I've been trying to save money by not going anywhere and you know what? It's actually kinda nice sleeping in until noon, working out, and doing nothing else. Anyways, I finally opened up my GMAT book and started to study. Gosh...I really hate math. I think if I were to take the GMAT when I was in high school, I might just have a chance of getting a perfect score. I wasn't required to take math in college so the last time I actually did algebra or geometry was probably about 7 or 8 years ago. Now I'm feeling old.

The new girl that we hired to help out my team at work finally started last Monday. She's really nice but there is one problem (well actually there is a little more). The girl is just too happy and excited at 6:30 in the morning and she makes so much little fidgety noises. Talking to me before 7:30 in the morning will piss me off. Having to hear fingers tapping on the table and slurping noises will irritate me. I probably won't be able to change anything about the latter but I think I have to tell her to stop talking to me in the morning.

I don't know if it's the warm weather or whatever, but I killed three spiders in the past two days. One was dangling in front of my face when I was brushing my teeth this morning. It's so weird. I haven't seen a spider in my house for awhile and all of sudden three pops out of nowhere. I really hate seeing spiders. I don't know. Every time I see one crawling on the ceiling or down the side of the wall, I feel like it might find it's way to my bed and bite me in the middle of the night. I know this might sound a little crazy...but I usually like to leave the spiders alone if I see them crawling around. Although I'm scared that they could bite in my sleep I also like to believe that it will find it's way out of my house and into my back yard or something. I only killed the three spiders these past two days because one of them crawled on me and the other two were just dangling too close to me.

So yea....nothing interesting going on lately. Gas prices are dropping though! I am confident that some time maybe before the end of the year, it will drop under $3.00 a gallon. A girl can dream right?

it's nice to relax for a while, esp if you were really busy with work beforehand. all the best with GMAT!

Wow, you're cranky in the a.m. I wish we'd see the same drop in oil prices but I guess the prices were set some time ago. I can't help but believe someone's making money.

eck, hate spiders!!! give me the creeps..

Gas prices, I read that the gas prices are about to lower to $2.75 within next week here in Fresno !!!

hehee... its been awhile now since my last math class... at City College.. o.O I can't imagine myself taking a test now... *eek*

err... the new girl does sound a bit annoying... you should tell her to tone it down... =)

Gas prices are tumbling. I can't believe the barrel price is over 50% less than it was at its peak over the summer. It's wonderful! I sure hope airfare drops a little (and all the other prices that went up bc of higher fuel costs) and quickly. Not that I'm planning to fly anywhere. =(

I wanna go to L.A. during the winter break. I just wanna get outta here! Wahh.

I've been around some coworkers who were the fidgety, talky type. They'd be talking or giggling to themselves and such. It kinda bothers me. They should be calm and quiet, youknowwhatImean?

Super straight forward and blunt. I'm the friend that tells you that you look like sh*t at the end of a long day at work (and then I help you fix your hair). I can be pretty intimidating, but everyone around me knows that I'm one of the nicest people they'll ever meet. I can talk to anyone, anywhere, on just about anything that comes to my mind at the moment. I'm a Cancer so I can get along with practically anyone. At this moment in life, I can say that the smartest decision I ever made was to study abroad in Hong Kong, where all I did was shop, eat, party, and travel for a year (but don't tell my parents that). I'm super addicted to girly books (I love Sophie Kinsella) and was recently tricked into reading my first romance novel(it's like porn on books). I truly believe that I am destined to be a photographer, food critic, or an event planner, but somehow landed in banking and finance. I'm an impulsive shopper (last year I bought a PSP and now it's just sitting on my book shelf). I have a passion for food and I love trying new restaurants. I once told a friend "if we weren't working together we would never be friends because you can't eat garlic." My friends appreciate food. For some odd reason (I still haven't figured out what) I have the shortest attention span when it comes to the guys I date. I can be staring at my cell phone when it rings, but I'll never pick it up. I'm addicted to buying Chinese DVDs. I'm allergic to lychee, but I eat it anyways. I can't stand pretentious people, I rather respect you for your b*tchy a**hole selves. I learned how to read and speak Mandarin by watching tv. I once told a Congressmen to get off my seat at a conference in capitol hill. I'm not on facebook.
