• 老外来了，第二集: The Next Episode of "Laowai Laile"

  Many of my old friends from high school have gone onto big things, they're now lawyers or doctors. Me, I still struggle to put on a tie. Others are high up the corporate ladder with desks with their names chiseled ontop. Real respectable careers. Me? These days I get dressed up as a dork and act like a nincompoop. And then I get dressed up in costume and shoot 《老外来了》! Something to put on the business card and tell 'em at the reunion! "What's Sam doing now?", one asks.  "Well, remember how he used to be an amateur fool? Well, now he's a professional one". The new episode of 《老外来了》 screened on TV last week, you can check it out below. Shooting the show has been great fun, we're having such a blast on set, and I'm really looking forward to the bigger budget episodes when the characters get a bit more developed, especially the fish. This episode (trade secret) actually contains a large segment from the pilot before it was picked up. So that's why in the first bit I have a pony-tail then suddenly short hair. I cut my hair just before shooting 《暮鼓晨钟》, so when we found out LWLL was a go on CCTV6, we needed some last minute re-shuffling to make up for the sudden haircut.
