I was watching the Opening Ceremony last night along with probably the entire global population and it was good...but I felt it went kinda down hill from the beginning of the Parade of Nations...and I thought the lighting of the cauldron was a little drawn out...but other than that I quite enjoyed it...except for this:
No, I don't have a problem with the people, but more with the junk they are wearing...yes, that is the Australian team uniform from the Opening Ceremony...I mean what the hell is with the silver caps and the shiny jackets? They look shithouse...I really don't like it...and the pants were capris with little toggle things so you can pull the bottoms of the pants tighter...it was horrible. We are the world's worst dressed Olympic Nation...
Anyway...I have other things to talk about...
I got a call at 10:20am this morning, I have a job interview on the 18th at a jewellery store...but the only down side it it's just a Christmas job and I am not guaranteed to be kept on after the festive season...I would like it but I'm going to see if I can get something a little more permanent. If I can't get anything else. I'll be happy with that.
I also messaged my friend this morning and he called me...he's doing well, he's back at uni (about bloody time) and enjoying it, he's enjoying his job too and...well things aren't all peachy with his gf (no surprises there)...but I don't think they ever really were...but oh well...I actually don't see them lasting much longer...he told me a few things...and yeah...not going to post it but...yeah she's a right royal bitch alright...
And my dad wants to buy new sheets for his bed and wants to get me new ones too and wants me to go with him so I can pick what I want for mine...nnnnooooooooooooo...I don't want to go...I hate him...and he is embarrassing to shop with...and I definitely DON'T want to drive with him...I hate his driving...aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhh...I'm so not going...I don't care...I'll get sheets another time, mine may be thread bare and have a fucking HUGE hole in them but I am NOT going with him...
