9個評論This might sound strange but I've never celebrated Halloween. People keep private Halloween parties here, but I've never gone to them. The atmosphere and energy is just not the same. That is until I went to HK in '05. I got my first taste of Halloween.... I didn't wear a costume, but I did go to LKF on Halloween night and Ocean Park a few days before. It was so much fun!
LKF was really crowded, we had to walk in a queue.... one to go in and another to go out. I remember it was chilly and breezy that night. it was fun to see all the other people dressed in costumes. Some of them were really frightening and scary looking! Some of the people in the scary costumes tried to scare others around them. LoL... I tried to stay as far from them as possible.
Were any of you there during 2005? Who knows.... we might have crossed paths. 
Here are some pictures from that night:
At Ocean Park, I stayed for their "Halloween Bash" at night (don't quite remember the exact name). We went to all the haunted houses.... haha, it wasn't scary as I thought it would be, but the sound effects and lighting made everything spookier than it really was. We went in with a bunch of people and I was safely tucked in the middle of the group. So whenever a ghost/monster jumped out to try to frighten us, I'd always know beforehand because I heard the screams ahead of me.
If I went in by myself I would definitely be scared!!!
There was this show with a witch doctor and some fire eaters, etc. It was pretty amazing, but these were all the photos I got during the Bash. My camera battery ran out shortly after taking these pictures.
I spent an entire afternoon searching for the perfect pumpkin to carve. I didn't have any clue how to start so I decided to just draw a basic face. Here's my first and only carved pumpkin:
After lighting it for around half an hour, I wanted to eat it. It smelled so good
.... roasted pumpkin! But of course, I didn't.
