It's a holiday weekend.... Monday is Heroes Day. It's a day in recognition of our seven National heroes.

There will also be an awards ceremony that is held during the day to acknowledged persons who have performed brave, heroic or noble acts throughout the year. I haven't made any plans yet because of the rain. But whatever, I'm glad to get a break and relax.

Ok.... and going completely off tangent.... I got bangs last night. I was in a DIY mood and decided to get back bangs. Even though, I used to trim my bangs by myself when I had them.... it's completely different cutting my own from scratch. I had made up my mind.... how bad could it be? If something went wrong I could just pin it up and wait for it to grow back. Thank goodness it came out alright!

oh wow that's such a respectable holiday. I wish we had something like that, and I love to hear of heroism an noble acts by people, sounds a nice award ceremony.

kudos on doing your own bangs,I wish I was brave enough to attempt it.

I do the bangs now too. It's flexible - you can let them hang down or side-sweep them away. I was never a bang girl but some wispy ones are all right.
