Just a couple more days in 2007. As we look forward to 2008, I look back on the events of this year. This was a memorable year... good times, bad times, through laughter and tears...I realize that no matter how tough or impossible things seem to be, it can get better through determination and positive thinking. It's funny how something so simple and plain in your face can be so hard to grasp. Through a series of incidents that have occured, I feel that my outlook on a lot of things have changed. Strangely, some of my unhappy memories have led to happy ones. Never take anything for granted whether it's safety, health, family or friends.... small or big things.... create happy memories.

This has been a very memorable year for me as well. I made so many acquaintances in cyberspace (thanks to AnD) and almost all are generally favorable. That's pretty cool.

You are very right about unhappy memories leading to happy ones. For me I have a job now thanks to an uncomfortable situation, it may not me perfect, but at least it's keeping a roof over my head. like iggypuffygirl says, it is often necessary to suffer in order to know a blessing.
Here's hoping 2008 will be a great year for you :)

That's an important point to cherish :) I always think that we need to go through suffering in order to truly appreciate the blessings... have a happy new year!
