    Four years ago, I participated and at the end I got this for all my hard work.  It was a fun process.  Haha....


    Nanowrimo stands for "National Novel Writing Month" which starts November 1 and ends the 30th.  It is during this period that participants begin writing their 50,000 words novel.  Everyone who reaches the word count by or before November 30th is a winner.  Sign up starts this evening,  The choice to make your novel public or keep it private is entirely up to you.  Quite a few participants had their Nanowrimo novel published.

    I'm still thinking whether or not I'll participate this year.  It will be fun and I'll get my creative juices flowing again.  Oh well, I have until November 1 to decide.

    Yeah I think writing competitions are very good, and it gives everyone a chance. I say go for it

    If you have a story to tell, then go ahead and write the novel. Sounds like fun to me. I'd like to write a novel or two.... and maybe this kind of contest would get me started.

    wOw... so you were the winner in 2003? was your novel published publically?
    what do you like to write about? do you also design the artwork for your novel?
