i think most people see me as too serious ... i actually laugh a lot ... my parents accuse me of living life like a joke and need to be a bit more focused - to which i respond "any more focus and ill miss the point"

ive always loved stationary stores as a kid, and i like making stuff - so here's some of the little books of memories which i called "making memories by sky tao" that ive made for friends i care about and love (oh yes thats alivenotdead included)
my personal scrapbook was started in 2006, and has all the things ive done since i moved back here - also people that mean a lot to me - so dont be surprised to see yourself tagged in it :)

i only really realized where my passion was last year - having looked back at my life wondering what i was really looking for in my journey through life - i asked myself a simple question:
what is the one thing that i have been consistent with?
and its been writing.
be it in my notebooks (i have many of those) or sketchbooks (lots of those too), a few separate documents which i have started but havent finished either due to time or writers block or my heart just didnt nor want to complete them.
of all the writing i have ever done - the one piece that i am forever proud of is my media law thesis, i got a high distinction - but what makes me proud is not what grade i got - its my sticking with my vision, intention and style for a legal thesis - and for interpreting a totally different legal system/jurisdiction that i have never been subjected to.

the first amendment, the notions of free speech, free expression and jerry falwall v. larry flynt (hustler magazine) - written in 2004 - it took me 3-4 weeks to write - 3 days where i didnt sleep at all putting it together - thinking through my analysis and working through it and conveying it. read it here: http://skytao.com/FlyntFinal.htm
i guess it would be because of this thesis that threw me into committing myself in every action and words i do under the umbrella of freedom of expression.
