Jackie Chan is in Shanghai attending the opening ceremonies for the 2007 Special Olympics. A long time supporter of the event, Chan spoke highly of the Special Olympics and the athletes: "I went to many countries to promote Special Olympics, through which I know
there are so many misfortunes. Special Olympics may give them
hope, transforming misfortunes into fortunes."
