Birthdays 誕生日イベント

By now, some of you may be aware that my birthday was on Monday.  In addition to some impromptu celebrating at the stroke of midnight with a few pals after the Pat Lee event, we also did an alivenotdead.com staff dinner on Monday night after work.  Thursday was also Stunti's birthday, so why not kill two birds with one stone?  僕の誕生日月曜日でした、オリビーレーの誕生日も木曜日から、一緒セレブレートした。


We got a surprise that afternoon when we got a special delivery,  an absolutely huge gift basket of fruit....  (you can't give wine to a guy who doesn't drink, right?)　24味から、このプレセントをもらった、すごい思い！フルツ一杯有った！僕は酒飲みませんから、フルツをくれた。

Shan set up a dinner in mid-levels at a fancy-pants Fusion restaurant -- maybe a bit too fancy for me...  what is Mushroom jus anyway?!?  [let me state for the record now, that for 2009 I'd like to just go to TGI Fridays... ]  :-P
月曜日晩、仕事後会社員一緒一寸高レストランで食事した。僕は簡単の料理好きな人ですけど。。。

But its really all about the people - even though we see eachother 8 to 12 hours per day nearly every day,  its still nice to get out of the office and go somewhere together.   In addition to the regular suspects, Elena the intern, Berton and Kate came out too to help celebrate. 友達達一緒から、楽しかった。

Actually I got a little extra celebrating in the following night too,  as it was Kim's birthday. Some more friends met up at a Karaoke in CWB and we had quite a lot of fun...  次の夜も楽しかった、キム君の誕生日からカラオケで遊んだ。

Anyway, I think I like Kim's rendition more than the original. :-P



A few of us ended up staying til like 4am picking some really random, fun pop songs (beyonce, 50 cent, gorillaz, pussycat dolls, you name it!).  Totally fun.  I definitely enjoy Karaoke a lot more when no one is trying to do ballads! :-P　実は4時まで遊んだ、たくさん古歌を歌いました！
