5/10 Movie: Ratatouille (2007)

The word of mouth on this one was quite high when it came out over the summer. nearly everyone I knew who had seen it said it was quite good. but I wasn't that interested to see it... something about rats and food... two things I just don't want to see combined.

also too many minutes spent showing the rat yanking the guy around like a marionette - after the 10th minute it got kind of repetitive and boring...

it wasn't BAD, but i can't say I really liked it. I'm going to go out on a limb and disagree with 97% of the critics and 94% of the users on RT and give this one only a 5/10...

i watched it on my birthday...at least it was a happy story...
after watching so many not-so-impressive movies, i have learnt one thing: don't expect too much, u'll be happier that way...

but when i was watching the trailer earlier this year, the part where Linguini accidentally dropped Remy (who was in the bottle) into the drain made me scream, and my friend almost left me alone in the cinema...lol

I enjoyed the Incredibles much much more... but yes, i'm more of a super hero fan than a rats + cooking fan. :-D

Aww, I'm sad you didn't like it. I loved it!! I thought it was the best Pixar film yet, better even than the Incredibles.

Rats don't bother me that much. I used to have a pet mouse. : )

I have seen this one this weekend and it was good. Not the big blockbuster from Pixar (like Toy Story) but it was a good film.
Little bit long to start but after it's better.
Ok,... I also find it cool because the story take place in Paris ;-)
