  • USA in critical condition ... even Obama stated he would resign if ...

    Lately it has not been easy. The world's largest supporter of a free government is under critical bailout conditions showing to need at least 2 Trillion USD in financing. This would mean since government = the people in free government standards, 'the people' = 'the tax payers' = owe 2 Trillion USD just to get back to normal (full article).

    Even President Obama stated that he would resign if the problem could not be fixed!! If Obama did resign, we'd be in worse shape than ever. A world power without a leader. Anything is possible in these days and this may explain the severity of the problem that has been built up all these years without anyone really knowing it. Something will be passed but will it be enough to fix the problem at hand! 

    Any sensible bailout would definitey need to be focused heavily on infrastructure. This will lead to health improvements, better conditions and consumption of basic and raw materials. Of course, you can see the price of gold taking off consistently due to a perfect storm environment when it comes to turmoil + instability + increased bets on basic raw material consumption.

    Thoughts?

    President's Day weekend is coming up, how will you be celebrating?

    You have quite a blog here...I think it's really bad and it take a lot of time but the economy is not our only problem. I mean these days, we look around, seem like natural disasters are everywhere and unfortunate events seem to happen a lot more....Anyhow, like any business models, the economy will fix itself...somehow. Isn't that how business cycle suppose to behave :=) Well, I think Obama has more supporters than many president before him so he will get us through this...

    More turmoil just happened today. Senator Gregg threw in the towel and said he just couldn't go through with the Cabinet position given the bailout plan from Obama's administration. This is just additional turmoil in an already very problematic time.

    And to think that our fearless, globe trotting leader Krudd (what I call our Prime Minsiter, Kevin Rudd because he's crap) wants to put us into a AUD$200BIILLION debt!!! I hate the Australian Labour Party. All they do is get us into debt. The states are $70billion in debt and our ear wax eating PM wants to get us into more debt that our previous government (Liberal/National Coalition) spent the better part of 10 years getting us out of. Debts courtesy of the previous Labour Governments. *sigh* the world is going to Hell in a hand basket.

    I would think he meant there'd be a new president in 4 years instead of in 8 years. I seriously don't think he meant he'd resign. That's just being a quitter.

    Yes, he must be super-stressed! I mean this whole ordeal with the bailout is ridiculous. The last Great Depression we were an agrarian society and we grew our own food. Today with so many in cities and suburbs, this is not going to be an easy fix if there's a depression like the 1930s.

    His resignation would be very bad PR for the USA. People would get very scared and feel lied to.

    That's bad news if he resigns.  He must be stressed, he's new at being president and has all these problems to fix.
