    this past Saturday before the tournament, we had lunch at the restaurant inside the bowling alley... and somehow I got gum stuck on my shoes and pant leg  I didn't even know until my team mate mentioned it to me... good thing she told me before we started bowling cause otherwise it'll be horrible... (things to keep away from bowling lanes is water and gum...) so I cleaned off the gum on my pant leg and left the shoe alone...

    after bowling was done, we walked to the car... it was about 80 degrees outside... and the gum melted underneath my shoe and got it all over the car's carpet... OMG!!~ I was so upset... so at night when I got home, I had to clean off the gum from my shoe and the carpet... luckily all of it did come off...

    but gosh, I really do hate people spitting gum all over and sticking them underneath tables and chairs or wherever besides the garbage can... okay, I'll admit, I did spit gum out on the street before but I'd never stick them under the tables and chairs... but I don't spit gum out on streets anymore... I know it's annoying...

    That's why I don't really chew gum anymore. It's annoying having to spit it out. Much easier to just suck/chew on a mint.

    i hate that too.. i go to high school and people love to spit everywhere.. so i end up having gum on my shoes all the time.. throughout high school, i probably have had 10 gum sticking to my clothes/shoes incidents.. my shoes have endured a lot..

    Sometimes i wish that we had harsher laws against littering in the US.  Maybe not as harsh as Singapore but something to keep people from just dumping whatever whenever.

    That really would irritate me! How inconsiderate some people are. Why can't they keep the streets clean & tidy. At least you've cut the bad habbit hee.

    Peanut butter!  That helps remove gum but I often wonder if there isn't a greasy stain from the peanut butter...then you gotta use something else to get rid of the greasy stain...and so on, and so on!

    How annoying....there was a big huge wad of gum on an airplane seat that I was assigned to.  It took forever for them to relocate me (fortunately I could move...the plane wasn't full) but at first the flight attendant said I had to sit there.  I said, "No way!!!"  After she saw just how huge the gum was she finally agreed.  Oy!

    I always spit my gum out into the wrapper or some other tissue.  I feel your pain, Jane!  =D

    ahh...I feel your pain.  I try my very best not to touch public tables and chairs to avoid getting into sticky situations.
