    Relaxing right now on Sunday after an eventful weekend that started Friday night!!  My friend, Julie, and I went to see Hairspray (The Musical) and we both loved it!! We didn't want it to end. We had the first row in the balcony at the center of the stage so we had a great view of the whole stage with absolutely nothing / no one in front to block our view.  The show was amazing... humor, dance, great songs, and the bigger message of segregation / integration. Too bad photography was not allowed inside the theatre... (but it's understandable) so I found two photos online that was from the musical...  but the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco is gorgeous. The details inside is beyond words. AMAZING!





    Dancing with the Stars' viewers (JRS), don't you think the guy on the far right (as tagged) look like Mark Ballas from DWTS? I thought he did... hahaa... I wonder if he was ever part of the show...

    Then on Saturday, Peachey, Cass, and I met up with Mark for lunch. It was great!!~ I had my camera with me, but Peachey and Mark were already taking pictures, so I didn't take my camera out. We'll have to wait for them to upload pics.

    Today, my mom and I went out for some dim-sum and then did some grocery shopping. We get $1.00 coupons for every $10 spent, and we save up about $23 worth of those coupons so we went to the deli section and bought some desserts. I picked out the Raspberry Almond Cheesecake and a Fruit Tart; it is sitting in the refrigerator right now waiting for me to devour it.

    I'm getting close to a new milestone. right now is at 49,600 visitors. I wonder who will be the 50,000th visitor. I was lucky to be Peachey's 100,000 visitor... hehee...

    Sounds like you've been having fun Jane.  I just watched the Hairspray movie and it was quite enjoyable.  AnD  gatherings are always fun.  Dim sum and desserts - yum!

    I've heard so much about Hairspray...... really hope to watch it one day.  =)

    It was funny how none of us could figure out what that mysterious purple sauce was on our plates. We have such bad palates. =P

    Hairspray looks good. I may watch it on DVD I know the atmosphere in theatre would be 10 times better! Hope you enjoyed your desserts.

    ooo hairspray!! i loved the movie a lot!!! the old wan thou. lol!!! i'd b going for beauty and the beast soon. stageplay too and hopefully i'll njoy as much as u did. ;)

    I saw Hairspray years ago and I loved it.  We are very lucky to live in San Francisco where there are many cultural events happening all year around.

    Oh, live musicals are so exciting, aren't they? So lively and exuberant and energetic. I wish I could go to more of them.

    I still have that Madonna concert tix. You want to come with me? =P

    glad you enjoyed Hairspray - it looks like it was fun.

    is there a prize for the 50,000 visitor?  ^_~  I couldn't tell who my 20,000 was.
