I went on a FIELD TRIP! Today Cass and I went on a field trip to the Musee Mecanique (Mechanical Museum), Pier 39, Coit Tower, and the Ferry Building.

It was quite a fun day despite our field trip starting out a bit rough. Musee Mecanique has a collection of antique games and machines that reads your horoscope and plays music and even pornographic images! It is quite similar to the one JoanneSanderson visited and blogged about. We played a number of machines but we didn't capture too many pictures; we were having too much FUN! hahaa... Here's what we did capture on camera though...

We also played the more modern arcade games too; such as car racing! hahaa... our hours spent playing Mario Kart paid off... we each won one race so we got to race again for free. And really we played all the sports games there were; like bowling, golf, soccer, and baseball. Almost all the games on the Wii... hahaa but with the older "technology" HAHAA!!!!!!

Then we took a hike up to Coit Tower. Today's weather was beautiful; we couldn't have asked for better considering that the weather has been sucky here. Here's a view around the bay...

and people actually were throwing pennies, dimes, nickels, and even quarters through the window slot. What was that for? is it good luck? We had no idea but Cass managed to get one through. hehee...

And lastly, we visted the Ferry Building and got some gelato! hahaa... YUM! good way to end our Field Trip! hahaa... we already have destinations in mind for our next field trip!

I still can't believe that girl kept following us to take pictures, as we played each machine. At least she didn't get a shot of me arm wrestling (I hope). =P

did they move the musee mecanique from their location by Ocean Beach (near Cliff House, I think)? Does it still have the photobooth that takes b&w pics? That was super cool!
