    good news: received the check in the mail today. I am a bit surprised that it came so soon. 

    but lately, I've been feeling very unproductive. Feel like I'm wasting a lot of time sitting around doing nothing... that feeling kinda sucks especially if it's been like a week of being totally unproductive.

    I need to kick myself in the butt and get my engine to start working again...

    do you get those day(s) where you feel very unproductive when you know you should be doing something? what do you do to kick start yourself to do something productive? wanna share?

    Congrats on getting paid :)  I usually try to focus on my goals and visualize what it would be like if I attained them to motivate myself.

    I know how you feel right now. See my wife's blog about "doing stuff". The first thing we're going to do is cancel cable...we found out we were more productive not channel surfing...at least without cable, our surfing is extremely limited.

    Yeah, oh that's great news Jane about the cheque.
    I know how you feel, and it ain't easy getting the engine into gear :D. I either force myself to do something or like D says, look for something that motivates me.

    ugh i have these unproductive days all the time, it seems like i only lay around watching tv or Chinese dramas on the comp and nothing else gets done. i just clean around thats what keeps me doing other things too.

    Unfortunately, I wear several hats in my production company and never find the time to sit back and smell the flowers. I would suggest that you do something that motivates you in a positive way. Play pretend Robber in the mirror with a black stocking over you face! haha! =)

    I have those days quite frequently...well more than I would like at least. I try to start something that I should be doing..at least starting something is a start. :)

    hmmm, I  have lots of days like that, I'm still trying to figure out a motivator.

    I have those moments a lot!  Right now I'm doing laundry and being on the internet and cleaning up my computer pictures so I can burn them onto discs.

    I definitely have days where I feel like doing nothing... and in order to kick start myself to do something, I make a list of things to do :)
