    沒有程亮 / 常在心 的日子 第1日。 晴。

I just finished watching 溏心風暴 (Heart of Greed)... and I have to say I've enjoyed watching this series... because I think the series teaches the viewers a lot about life... things like: family, relationships, money, friendship, etc... there's so much in it... and like any other movie/series that I watch, I got really into the story... like literally when I'm watching it, I'm staring at the screen without a blink... when something happy happens in the movie, I am happy with them, when something sad happens, I'm crying with them... I think AC100 can really relate on this, right?

we were both very touched by 林峰 (Raymond Lam) and 鍾嘉欣 (Linda Chung) characters... please read about their relationship on AC100's blog... I was just starting to watch the series when I read AC100's blog, so I didn't really know much about the characters... but as I progressed thru the series, I started putting the pieces of the puzzle together... I knew that Alfred's character will die... but I couldn't really picture in my head how that would happen... but stupid me... looking on youtube for the English song in the movie and saw some montages/clips on there that I really shouldn't have seen... but regardless, when it got to the ending point of their relationship, I still cried... I cried to a point where I couldn't get myself to start the next episode... I don't know why... but after a couple hours of settling down my feelings, I was able to continue watching and actually finished it yesterday...

hmm... I don't where I'm going with this blog... hmm... I guess what I really want to say is that... the thing I really didn't like about the series is that Alfred never got to know that he was forgiven for all the bad things he had done to the relationship... I was seriously hoping that he would eventually know... even if in the end he must die, I hope that he dies happily knowing that he was forgiven...

Forgiving does not erase the bitter past.
A healed memory is not a deleted memory.
Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember.
We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future.

    ~ Lewis B. Smedes

anyone else feels like they get too involved in a movie like I do? I feel like this isn't a really good thing... b/c I feel like I am living in a fantasy at all times... I feel like movies paint a very nice picture on life (whether it is family, friends, or a relationship) I guess more so for relationships... the characters are always so sweet and charming... (kinda like Alfred, even though he cheated...) I always wonder, is relationships really like it is shown in movies? I feel like, if and when, I do start a relationship, I would wish that it would be like one in a movie... but I don't know, I've never been in a relationship before... that's why I think my mind living in this fantasy world is a bad thing...

*sigh* okay, I feel like I'm just ramblin' on with non-sense... sorry... but if you've read as far as this, I give you a hug...

I'll just end it with this montage/mv I found on youtube...

If I like the characters enough, I'll definitely become emotionally involved.

I watched a Korean drama series where I was crying at least once during each episode because it was just so sad and heartbreaking. It also affects me more if the actors do a good job of expressing their hurt and sorrow too.

I'll have to look for this series now...

I get emotionally involved with characters in TV shows and movies all the time, especially when I can relate to the situations they're in.

The relationship between these two looks sweet.  I haven't watched a TVB series in awhile.  I think  Raymond's acting has really improved but Linda has never impressed me.  I've gotten caught up in certain shows as well esp. when they are emotionally moving.

I know what you mean, I get that way when I'm watching shows too.... especially with series.  If it's a good show, I always chase the chapters.  =)

Ya, the fact that Alfred died b4 he knew he was forgiven by Sum kept sticking in my head.... I really wanted them to be together.  At least the show had a happy ending despite all the deaths, but if I could choose I'd have made a different ending.  Hahaa..... =D

Not just with movies, I found that out when  I used to play RPG's like Final Fantasy. I think  stories are very easy to get caught up in as if it is actually happening.....And I'm still waiting for my prince charming, but I'm starting to think I should stick to frogs. It's not a bad idea to live in a fantasy world, some elements of those romance stories do exist, you will experience them soon enough.

Er, I think tv shows and the movies have a lot more drama bc they have a finite amount of time to get the angles of the story in. But, sure, if a show were to compact my life thus far into 30 bite-size episodes, there would be some drama here and there.
