I woke up to the morning sun... no blue sky though.. but it was a RED SUN definitely very weird... had to take the opportunity to capture a picture of it...

and here is my room with the painter's tape still on... my mom actually liked the blue color contrast between the orange... but I don't think I want to take the time to paint in another color trim... it's so much work...

here is my room without the painter's tape... it looks pretty good, I think, but without the tape, I can see all my mistakes...

(we're gonna change out the closet door on the left... so the left door is the before color, and the right is the after color... )

this is what keeps me pumpin' in the room... hahaa... with an echo in the room and loud music... I hope my neighbors don't find me annoying from my singing...

so in conclusion... this is my thoughts about painting... I'm a lousy painter... there are so many mistakes... argh... hopefully my bed, desk, or book shelf will cover up some of the mistakes... hehee...

so we gotta work on the floor next... the hardwood floor is kinda messed up right now... hopefully that won't take too long... I wanna be able to settle in before I go to HK...

OH! my grandma still doesn't know that I'm sick... I think I'm getting a little better but still feel really tired... had a hard time going to sleep last night... so, I'm still fighting...

OH! this is also my 100th post... hehee... see, once you get me goin' I just can't stop... hahaa...

That sun complements your room quite nicely. Hahaha. My house is in desperate need of a paint job and new floors.

Once on the top of Mountain Emei, I saw a sunrise as beautiful as you saw...it was red but not shine.
your new room is so nice...I like that style, bright and sweet. have a good time there.

Moving into a new apt? Not bad...I suck at painting too. I think I found that out in art class and then during the attempt to paint my own room...

Trim work is the toughest to do when it comes to painting. The orange is a good accent and adds a nice pop! That's your happy color isn't it? Mine's pink.

Glad you're a bit better - get plenty of liquids!!

haha. At first I thought the orange window frames, molding and door frame was interesting. Then a second later, I realized it was the tape. ;D

The orange-y red sun is from the smoke and fire happening down in San Jose. The haze is bc of that too. :(
