eek, sorry Leelay but toothpaste really drys out your skin and is harsh on it.   I'm sure there are gentler methods.  Good luck

besides pimple cream, SK II mask is quite gd for me, but diff ppl will have diff results.

There's this pdt which caught my eye for a long time, it's endorsed by Alicia Keys and seems like her face is very clear now! Forgot its name tho...

Hmm... I'm not quite sure to be honest.

I've always just left it there... never squeezed them cos the bateria spreads...

I just covered it up with foundation...

    don't stress yourself?
i mean i'm VERY lucky i don't have such issue. minor ones came only when i didn't have enough sleep, or stress with life. :)

besides tht, i use Neutrogena. sometimes, don't go too strong to kill it. take it slowly. i always think thtose acne killing facial cleanser are so strong and NOT GOOD for your face/skin. probably take it slowly. use the gentle one and keep using the same brand. i strongly believe it helps your skin to recognize the 'formula' and get use to it. you know?

anyway, tht's just me. :) i've been good so far. nothing wrong. sticking to the same brand of cleanser and use it. don't switch around. sometimes it may make the situation worse. :)

    hope this helps!

My sister has tried literally everything. But nothing works for her til my dad brought back a bottle from Guangzhou.

"Dou Man Xiao" is it's name. It works wonders for her. I'm not sure if that even sells in the US. But there's only 1 place that sells it in Guangzhou that my dad knows of. Him getting that for her was by luck. Didn't know it'll work so great!

i think just wash your face with anything with salicalyic acid (don't know how to spell it) but i think always put moisturizer after you wash your face that keeps the oil from coming back and prevents some pimples.  and drink lots of water!

Many swear by dabbing a bit of soap on and leaving it on the spot overnight, but I find a bit of tea tree oil face mask on the spot works better. If you can tolerate harsh products then  Clean & Clear Advantage quick clear spot treatment gel or Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action treatment cream do minor wonders.

i would avoid fried food and spicy food... plus i would drink chinese herbal tea, such as wong lo gut, gook fa cha, ha goo cho, etc. boiling them urself has more effective but i usu buy them since it's so convienient.

I do all sorts of things, even avoid fried foods, and I still get them. I put on the blemish creams with salycylic acid cos I can't tolerate benzoyl peroxide. Remember to moisturize your skin even if it doesn't feel dry.

Homeopathic ways to dry them out - dab some hydrogen peroxide on them at night, or grind up an aspirin pill and add tiny bit of water to make a paste and put that on the spot at night.

Don't pick them and drink plenty of water.  I've used a product from Mario Badescu called Drying Lotion that is pretty effective at clearing them overnight.  I think it's about $20 and you can get it online.  You can also look for a clay mask to draw out impurities and deep clean your pores.  I think Neutrogena makes a pretty good one.

awwww... how many polka dots do you have? hmmm. i would suggest just keeping your face clean (wash twice a day only- don't overdry your skin) with a foaming cleanser for sensitive skin. i don't recall your skin to be too oily, so that's why i wouldn't recommend any "oily skin" products... b/c those can overdry and just make your skin peel or create even more pimples (when dry, the skin tries to secrete even MORE oil to the surface which may increase risk of pimples)...

    hope this helps... =/
