Feeling Better...

Finally starting to feel like my ol' self again. Man, cast iron tubs are pretty darn heavy. Anyway, last Sunday, I had to help our contractor carry a bathtub up to our bathroom for our remodel. Unfortunately, my left leg was already sore from playing with the kids and trying to push them in their stroller uphill to watch the Blue Angels weeks ago. So, as I lift and started walking, my leg started to tell me "Hey, I'm sore!!!", my back compensated for the leg. So, after the tub was in place, I was a bit tender for a while. So far so good until I laid down to read a story for the kids...that's when my back just locked up...never have I ever felt this before. I was on my back in this fetal position and just couldn't move. The kids just backed off and any movement I had was excruciating pain. So, after about 10 minutes, I was able to get off the bed, but as I started to stand up, the weight of my upper body pressing on the lower back, that locking up feeling started to return. Somehow, I managed to move and then went to bed after taking Ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer that I had from an old injury. On Monday, i barely was able to get out of bed. I actually showered and dressed for work. Oh...the wifey would have none of that, so I stayed home, I took more meds and was knocked out for another 7 hours! Tuesday, I went to work...this really didn't sit well with AC, she was pissed! So, I made it to work and back ...finally each day, it got better. So, today is the best I've felt since sunday. Thank you to Janechu, Peachey and Butter for your well wishes! Anders are very cool!!!

BTW...now that I'm mobile...AC wants me to put up shelves in our closet...tonight!!!. :l
