Week flies by

I was planning to write about the Blood Brothers After-Party during last weekend, but since Amy wrote a great re-cap, I didn't know what else to write. But, here's my write on the party...

I was going to write earlier, but this piece of food crumb slipped under the Space Bar, so, I popped the key out to clean it...but took me forever to snap it back in place. :( 

Yes... the Party...I was excited to attend the party for a few reasons. First, we rarely go out without the kids too often. Some people may think this is not good and that we need "our time" together, but we don't feel like we're missing much. We did our partying time and now, we feel that we've moved on to another step in our lives, that which involves our kids. So, it was great that we were able to find a sitter so that we could attend this party. Second, the party venue was at The Public, I've been meaning to go there for a while since I know one of the owners. But to my luck, he was on vacation during this time, so I didn't get a chance to surprise him. I guess there'll need to be a next time. Lastly, I really enjoy going to parties where Amy gets to see her friends from her old wushu days. Wushu is her passion and those days of training and competing brings back great memories for her and to see her so happy, I just think that it's cool. This gathering was a huge surprise for her as she hadn't seen a lot of folks in probably over a decade...especially in one place. She was able to say her "Hi's" and catching up to many people as well as meeting new friends. It was great seeing Daniel and Patrick again. We can't believe it's been a year since we last saw them. I told Daniel (or "Dan-O" as our daughter calls him) that our daughter still remembers him giving her M&Ms last year. It was also cool seeing Dan Nakamura at the party, too. Overall, I think a lot of people had a great time. I guess we'll have to wait another year for the next one! :)
