Has anyone purchased an iPhone?

Has anyone unlocked their iPhone?

Might get one if we can figure out the unlocking.

Doesn't unlocking the phone void the warranty? I do believe the sim card is under the battery, and we all know what happens if you try to replace the battery in an iPod :P

From what I hear they're only great if you're into the web browser! other than that get an Ipod touch.

I couldn't use the earphones they give anyway (they don't fit in my ears! they are uncomfortable.) and I don't think you can add others that don't have a microphone on them. (not sure about that one though :) )

kinda bad since I break my earphones a lot :P

ppl say you can find the unlocking instructions on the web. i have a feeling that the new iphone is going to prevent that cos they won't want everyone unlocking their phones. so i suggest you getting one before that happens.

i have one but haven't unlocked it. i actually think the phone fu ctionaliyt on it isn't all that great. It's hard fro me to hear sometimes even when I switch it to speakerphone.

I do like the camera on it though a whole lot :)

Did you get one or planning to get one? Don't know much about them. Hubby's boss got one and it got snatched when he was on the subway. Good thing he bought the insurance.

Having trouble unlocking it...Oh no, I hope you can figure it out. I'd love to help but I'm still figuring out my old Sony mobile.

nope not yet..m waiting to get it when i get back to singapore and when i go to HK..i heard there are a lot of fake iphones in beijing =)

A couple of my friends have iPhones but I don't think any of them unlocked theirs. Are you planning to buy one? I heard there are some kinks in the iPhones and you should probably wait until the newer ones come out.

heh...someone did offer to sell an iphone to me but i declined the offer since i just bought a used samsung d600 not too long ago.

Nope. But a few people in my office (all of the IT guys plus others) have them. I played with one 2 days ago at the Apple store. It's pretty cool, but pricey.
