So yesterday morning I decided to make French Toast: cinnamon, eggs, milk, bread, and vanillia extract.. Sorry no pictures...forgot sadly....hot cocoa (no coffee), sausage links & scrambled eggs...
Haven't eaten lunch yet...But we decided to make POUND CAKE!!!!!! Turned out okay, got the recipe from emerils.com. Needed a bit of lemon zest and more vanillia. Ryan wants to add raisins. Maybe need to cook it a little less. We wanna try adding milk to it. A bit hard for the top crust part, not sure why, wonder if that's how it's suppose to be. But from my experience, it's nto suppose to be. Any one have any pound cake baking experience or recipes they've tried and know that is good???
No pics again, my dad and mom went to China for the week, back this very late night. Oh yah..did I mention they took my camera??? lol
last night is Zen Gow!!! or Pot stickers whichever you want to call them. We just call them Dumplings...didn't do a taste test but they turned out great!! Green onions, soy sauce, ground pork, egg, seseame seed oil, salt and lots of pepper...
Tonight, fried rice and teriyaki chicken..my baby can cook asian dishes now...
Me and Ryan keep watching the FOODNETWORK! Can't keep our eyes away from it. lol our favorite is Emeril. He's awesome! But the thing is, when you watch him, he never tells you the exact measurements for what he puts in the food like seasonings and stuff...
