  • I Don't Want to Clean My Room

Damn it! I'm short another $200 plus in my checking account. Maintenance on a car, even when it's not a luxury vehicle, is expensive. Last week I had to pay to renew my registration and just this morning and I had have my brakes replaced. Did renewing registration always cost so much? I thought it was cheaper back in the day.

So I've been feeling pretty lousy these past two days. I'm not sick. It's allergies. Thanks to the girl that sits next to me I've been suffering the effects of her cheap perfume. Peachey suggested that I tell her nicely to lay off on the perfume, but I don't want to. I want my request to stop spritzy to come out harsh, cruel, and condescending. Is that bad of me? Probably. She called me fat the other day so I think she should thank god that I'm only going to attack with words. She obviously haven't taken a look in the mirror lately because although her arms are toned, her ass is the size of two globes with cellulite. I normally don't have problem with anyone's cellulite, but since she decided to insult me I've decided I have a problem with hers. Don't even get me started on what she's wearing. It's so bizarre and so outrageously inappropriate that I've just decided to ignore her clothes altogether. Sadly, that doesn't mean everyone else in the office had. If I got a $1.00 for every time someone ask me about her choice of wardrobe, I could've bought myself not one but two LV purses by now. She came  to work on Tuesday, inauguration day, fully clothed in some type of traditional Indian wear. She's African American from NYC. Yesterday, she looked like a walking swamp, shit green and brown ruffles everywhere. I always thought New Yorkers had better fashion sense than that. I was wrong. Okay enough bashing.

So this morning while I was waiting for my brakes to be replaced (took almost 3 hours), I overheard a conversation that a barista from Starbucks was having with a marine. She asked him "so you were in Iraq?" He nodded. Then she asked "did you get shot?" He shook his head. I'm thinking...do they know each other? Then she asked "is Iran in Iraq or is Iraq in Iran? I can't ever figure it out." I looked up to see the marine shaking his head and then walk away. I'm guess his expression wasn't friendly, because she looked at me and shrugged. So I told her that  "Iran and Iraq are two different countries."

I don't want to clean my room.

What an obnoxious co-worker!  She definitely sounds like one who gives NYers a bad name.

OMG the girl at starbucks!! It's surprising how many people ain't great at geography. One girl was heading to Cambridge university  and she thought China was an island!

There was a line once to retort to  heavy perfume wearers 'nice perfume, must you marinate in it', something needs to be said, stuff like that can really irritate your allergies.

looks like somene has angered you. Be cool.  Are you celebrating CNY in US?  How will be CNY celebrated over there?  Maintainence of vehicle is expensive now....After CNY, I'm going to change tyre & it'll cost about RM300+ for 2 tyres.  I also need to change the carburator - it'll costs me some huge $$ as well.  Sigh!  Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year & Gong Hei Fatt Choy.  Hopefully we can take more angpows this year.

I too spent this week getting my car checked, brakes fixed and rego renewed.

It's actually an Occupational Health and Safety rule not to spray overly scented purfume in some Australian companies. Not sure how strict this rule applies though...
