a day around the bay...

sounds like a pretty good and exciting title, eh? well actually it was a very tiring day... my mom called in "sick" today... and we went out all day today... literally... left the house around 10am and came home close to 6pm...

started our day with going over to Oakland (looked at the Alexia dress color swatches)... I would have bought the dress from the store in Oakland but they were way pricey... wanted $172 for it... way too much... (but I bought the dress online... for only $129 after shipping...) *thanks to everyone for helping me with this; by giving me all your feedback and suggestions... *Hugs to all you wonderful people*

passed thru Alameda, then to the Nordstrom Rack in San Leandro/Hayward... then crossed the San Mateo Bridge to Foster City for lunch... then stopped at Michael's Arts and Crafts, then to Staples in South San Francisco, then went to Colma, then finally at Stonestown (right by 19th ave / Lake Merced)... and then home.. home sweet home...

the reason for all these stops? my mom is going to a friend's b-day dinner tonight... so she had to look for a b-day present... AND... there's a wedding to attend to this weekend... and just last minute the groom called my mom asking her to be the driver... so she had to look for a black blazer jacket as requested by the groom... and a blouse to wear inside...

oh, I was so tired... from moving back into my room that my energy almost died out after 2pm today... and mind you, it's the time of the month for me... so I'm not a very happy shopper...

but my mom is off to dinner... so I'm sitting here in my room enjoying my "new" room... and just relaxing...
