just as I thought I was done with "remodeling" my room... it seems like things are just getting started... we were working on sanding down the hardwood floor... and damn it is a lot of work... I'm so tired... we only got half the room done and my room really isn't that big... *sigh* I told my mom, can we just slap a big rug and cover it up... it's too much work... but she said the results will be good and it should last longer if we do it right... *argh* can I just get the after results then... forget about the process... hahaa... this is what it should look like when we are done...

now put that in for my floor... **thinking... hoping... dreaming... that we are done...**

anyway... my soon-to-be-bride friend and I will go to try on dresses on Tuesday... it should be fun... hehee... =) but my knees are all funky looking from me kneeling a lot... and my hands are rough from the sandpaper... err...

okie... I gotta catch-up with my blog reading tonight or tomorrow... hehee.. sorry...

I remember changing my houses carpet to tile....my god, my dad super glued the carpet to the floor when he built it, had to scrap and tear and scrap and burn the glue off..haha that lasted like 2 weeks. All hard work but it pays off in the end.

You probably got a good workout from it and just think of how nice the end results will look. I'm with Peachey - aren't bridesmaid dresses usually long enough to cover the knees?

wood flooring is much nicer then carpet, it will be well worth the effort. the red oak stained is a lovely choice, nicer than the very dark shades I think.

my hardwood flooring at home (main level) look s very similiar to yours... but we've got parquet flooring (hardwood, but square blocks) upstairs...

You're sanding by hand? Don't they have sanding machines for this kind of work? haha. Your bridesmaid dresses will be short enough to show your knobby-knees?
