I'm not sure if something like this has been posted before... but I have a pretty bad memory for certain things... (I did mention that some time ago in a blog, right?) hahaa... anyway... I'm just curious how you came upon AnD...

If I remember correctly, I popped up on the old AnD website when I saw in the newspaper about Daniel, Andrew, Conroy, and Terence joining together for a boy band... (of course we now know it was part of the THK idea) I knew all four of them minimally and wanted to know them more... of the 4, I was probably more familiar with DW b/c of his movies... I wasn't active on the old AnD website, only popped in once-in-a-while... check up on their blogs, photos, music, etc...

Then I found out that Alive will be appearing at the SF Film Festival with THK... so of course, first thing I did was pop on over to AnD... and saw the change on the website... I was like, HUH? what happened? hahaa... it became more of a community that was inviting people to post blogs, photos, etc... I was a little hesitant in the beginning... thinking should I blog or not? I never blogged before AnD, so I wasn't really into posting stuff on the internet... but I was bored at school one day, so I was like, eh, what the heck... probably no one will read it anyway... HA! I was right... until after the film festival... I think it was then when I felt like more people were popping around on AnD... or was that me? hahaa... I remember my first fan was Angela... and now it's quite funny to think that Peachey, Angela, Cass (and probably others as well), and myself were once under the same roof, doing the same thing, at the same time, on the same day... that was the screening for THK... hahaa...

so here I am now... blogging, meeting new people, meeting new artists, exploring new things thru other people's blogs, and the list keeps going...

so how did you come about to AnD? what were your thoughts of it when you first started? were you like me, thinking to blog or not?

I did check out the old site maybe once or twice because Pat had plugged Alive on his Rotten Tomatoes blog. Then eventually got ported over here via jetli.com (but would have joined regardless). Had been blogging on Xanga beforehand and decided to just cross-post my entries.

I mentioned this in previous blogs but Angela introduced me to AnD. Because of her, I reconnected with my old college friend, Brian Yang, as well as my grade school classmate's younger sister, Ivy. Small world!

i started to join when i first saw of dw blog on yahoo. then he says and links that he has his one and only official site. so i got curious and started to join. i dont remember, we could blog only the 4 guys were only allow to blog and post up pics. when this current aNd site was launched, i was hesistant to blog too. i mean, who's gonna read it or that i dont want to tell my biz to the world... but i get to meet lots of new ppl (and sane as well....hehee)..

I found this site when I thought I saw Daniel on the street in NY. I did a web search because I was like what would he being doing in New York and somehow I found his blog here. I started exploring the site and thought it was a pretty cool community since I was looking for a place to blog. Took awhile before I finally took the plunge though but I'm glad I did.

I watched a movie with Daniel Wu in it, I think the name was "Love Undercover" with Miriam. Then did a search on Google for Daniel Wu and stumbled on to this site. I had been visiting the site for a month or two before I actually signed up. =)

I visited the old site after first seeing THK, but I never signed up. This year I was messing about and searching stuff on Beyond, and somehow came across the AnD Hawaii video, I clicked to check the site out as I saw Terence Yin, who I thought was hilarious in THK in the clip, and then saw Paul Wong on the site, and the rest is history.

OMG same thing ...I liked DW of course~watched every movie he was in and then came across Heavenly Kings...I noticed the Website AnD....browsed on it alot just to see whats up with other people's lives as well as the stars....and then I started...I didn't know how to blog~still don't really :P But its fun meeting people!!

just like Yulien, subscribed to DWs yahoo newsletter fan group. Yep he had a newsletter, like his regular blogs, kept us all updated on what he's been up to. So he stopped that and took up AnD.

It took me so long to get a membership here because I was very skeptical about the site. So many people, well mostly DG, Peachey, Anita and the rest of the gang, but intimidated to join, until I saw a thread that threaded Terence on some thing, so I wanted to know more.

Signed up...whamo..some funny thing to get Ts attention..lol haha but since then I've been warmly welcomed and have had a great time here. :)

my memory: i subscribe to DW's Yahoo Group newsletter. then, got an update feed from him to move over to old AnD. so i did! (hence my 800+ days on the site)

i constantly check in old AnD, and i remember when i read any of their blogs, i comment "with a blog". hahaha!!!! then, i met Peachey, DG, Lou, Anita and a bunch of the regulars!! great memories!!!! hahaha!!!

and now we continue to enjoy our time here MORE!!!!!! plus user are more active!!!! NICE TO MEET YOU HERE IN THE NEW AnD HOUSE!!!!! *smile*

A fan of Daniel's. Heard about the site from his yahoo bulletin but didn't join until I wanted to give input when Lou was talking about moving to the farmland. Didn't start blogging until March and that was over at blogger.com.

due to Daniel WU i found AnD and joined but i am not his fans.it doesn't make sense,right?hehe~~that doesn't matter,the point is AnD's sweet function like auto saved attracted me.
and i met so many nice people here.

Elena and Jeremy, my myspace friends had told me about this place, I think it I found it in a search once but didn't join until they did. I think my first AnD friend (not from myspace) was Butter =) I'm a fan of the BLT/FTG family but, well, the people I'm a fan of has grown substantially since joining. I wasn't going to initially blog but, like shorty, had to say something when people referred to kiwifruit only as kiwi!! Now I'm a AnDholic (borrowing the term from Naomi). =D

I was a big Daniel Wu fan and was subscribed to his group on Yahoo... I think that's where I found out about the original AnD :)
