    OH! I forgot to mention something funny that happened yesterday while I was having the meeting with my client...

    There were two ladies sitting at the table next to us and they were talking rather loud so I couldn't help but listen in especially after hearing lady A say out loud, "I really tired of design. I don't like it anymore!" I just looked right at her... uhm, okay... and then sometime later in their conversation, lady B said, oh, you know it's so hard to find a web / graphic designer these days. My eyes went big and my ears were more attentive to their conversation. hahaa... I tried to peek over and see what kind of papers were floating around on the table... but nah, didn't see anything...

    I also remember lady A saying something like, "design is tough, there's so much competition. That's why I wanna change profession." well, I knew all along design was a tough market; it hasn't discouraged me yet...

    OH! and then when my client and I started talking, I could feel from the side of my eyes that both ladies looked right over to our table... hahaa...

    but you know, if I wasn't having this meeting with my client and just out with my friend(s) I probably would have chimed right into their conversation... hahaa...

    It is tough out there. I did it for a while and found that I just didn't want to do it everyday. Luckily, I still have creative input now at work. :)

    Good to see you are sticking with it, the tougher the competition, the more rewarding it is to make it. I find it easy to ignore conversations but when it's something that interests me, my ears prick up and I try desperately to hear the discussion :D, likewise I would of wanted to join in like you.
