    I'm sure we've all experienced this... it is really really hard to stay awake when your eyes just want to shut out... it is especially hard when you're in a class... I remember there was a class where I was always sleepy once I sat down... I think it might have been a digital media / multimedia history class... it was a horrible class... it was a big class, so we sat in a mini theatre like classroom, no windows, no air (it was horrible), the teacher's voice was tone-dead, the lectures were boring... and I'd always doze off in class... but I sat in the back rows... oh.. it was hard... I'd always look forward to the breaks, so I could go outside for fresh air... but once I sat down again, I would start to doze off again... and it was a night class too... but good thing nothing embarrassing happened.. hahaa....

    I think the worst ones were the times I was dozing off during the car ride... I'd have my elbow up against the window and then suddenly brakes and my head jerks forward... *argh* those are the worst... or at times even worst is hitting my head on the side...

    I think, if I remember correctly, there was one time when I was dozing off in class and I almost hit my face on the desk... of course I wouldn't know, but I think my friend might have tapped my shoulder or something... oh, how embarrassing...

    I also remember taking a class at City College... I think it was either a Photoshop or Illustrator class... the class was held in a computer lab... but during lectures all the monitors had to be turned off so that we give the teacher our full attention... but this guy sitting next me fell asleep... he was snoring really loud... everyone was kinda snickering... but it made me feel weird b/c I wasn't sure if I should wake him up or not... it was such an awkward situation..

    there was another time when I took a two-day seminar class on Excel with my mom... on the first day, after lunch, we were both really sleepy... I tried really really hard to stay awake b/c I wanted to make sure my mom doesn't doze off and do something funny... hahaa... but good thing class ended early that day... but neither one of us remembered anything from the lecture after lunch... so the next day, before heading back after lunch, we stopped at Starbucks... OH! that made the difference... hahaa...

    wanna share some of your dozing moments? or dozing moments you observed?     hmm... I'm feeling a little.... s...l....e....e....p...y...

    lol i've been sleeply lately right before I have my test..haha my teachers keep looking at me oddly. haha I can't help it if I can't go back to sleep when I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about a hot guy to drool over..lol

    Fallen asleep behind the wheel but not full blown sleep. I'd wake up to the banging of drums from my radio..lol

    Would be creepy to see someone sleeping with their eyes wide open like Gandalf in the return of the king...lol

    Soory Jane...I visited yesterday, but couldn't see the videos(most of used up too much memory!!).

    I love that little dog, the way he just conks out..So cute.

    I hate getting sleepy when I know I have to stay awake. I've had a few moments. But the worst was during a movie in the cinema and woke up with my head in the nachos and salsa sauce.

    One of my professors told us about this trick a student of hers pulled to get away with sleeping in class. This girl used makeup to draw eyes on her eyelids, so when she closed them, it looked like she was still awake!

    I have for a few seconds in lectures.  I did a transcental mediation course when I was 15, when every body was meditating, I tried it and put myself to sleep.

    Just today, I was falling asleep at work!  I also tend to fall asleep in classes.  I remember this one time when I walked into a class late so I had to sit in the front (since all of the seats in the back are taken first).  It was quite embarrassing because I kept nodding off!

    i haven't fallen asleep behind the wheel (when i'm the one driving) before but i've definitely fallen asleep in class before... JUSt for a few seconds though! haha...

    I've never actually fallen asleep in class, but I've come pretty close a few times in lectures where the lecturer was so boring.  =D

    I don't think I've ever fallen asleep during class. I'd  come close with the heavy eyelids and stuff but never a full-out nap. haha.

    haha!! i do feel sleepy often times in class, but i don't get to sleep...it's like embarrassment is on top of the line..hehe but i do remember back in elementary, it was like the 2nd grade, my classmate always fell alseep and the teacher would always ask " what did she do last night?"..i guess, i just don't want that to happen to me..hehe..=)

    one of the worst was in high school, i stayed up all night studying for my Chemistry test. while taking the test, i was sooo sleepy that i dozed off in the middle of the test and started drawing little triangles and shapes by accident on the test paper. =P
