  • the neighborhood

    we don't know all our neighbors, but we know most of the ones around us and a few up the block; but it's good to know your neighbors because we can be on the lookout for each other.

    this morning we received a phone call from our next door neighbor; last night at around 9:30pm, his fianc    é    e and himself was robbed at gun point as they walked back to the house after parking their car. But luckily, the robber just took the wallet and purse; our neighbors were not harmed.

    we live in a corner house and the robber was hiding out on the side of our house next to the rose bush (as you may have seen from the pics I posted before) That's scary! This weekend, we're gonna trim down the rose bush some more.

    This poor neighbor seems to be quite unlucky. I remember when we first moved in, maybe a few years after, they're house was robbed; but luckily, no one was home when that happened; it was during day time too.

    we gotta be attentive of our surroundings and be careful. *sigh*

    hmm.. and i just realized, i commented on the wrong blog.. oops!.. i was wondering why people were talking funny for a comic.. aha!

    p.s.  Im glad nobody was hurt in these situations... and if anyone ever gets all up in your face like that, i say (given the chance) GIVE'M HELL!!...

    AHA!.. i luv garfeild.. especially the movies.. my uncle says im a dork.. and i have bad tastes in movies because of it.. lmao (he doesnt know anything about taste)

    thats quite unfortunate that they are victims of such heinous crimes.. they might want to be a little bit more secure with themselves.. hope they arent the flashy type of neighbors with the porche and 5 caret diamond rings..

    that's pretty freaky, glad that nobody was hurt though

    our house was burgled a couple of times when I lived in Syndey - once when we were all asleep upstairs.  They used the lights of the Xmas tree and took the telly and video but not the stereo (too distinctive and hard to flog off).  Thankfully they didn't take the presents or wake any of us (cops said it was safer for us that way).

    That's pretty scary.  Your neighbor is lucky not be hurt.  It's good to know your neighbors so that you can look out for one another.

    When i first came to US, i lived with my aunt.  One night when my aunt and uncle came home, my bro went to open the door, and strange enough he walked backward and drop eventually fell on the floor.  We asked him why acting so weird, and he said... "gun gun gun..."  and then my aunt yelled from outside "call 911".  Some guy just robbed them with a gun right at the door!!  i was soooooooo scared!  Kinda really wanted to go home (to HK) right away!!

    oh wow. Please be extra careful. Rs arpt complex, 20 garages were broke into just the other night. Alot of garages at his place has been broken int lately this past month + more. eeck...they still haven't been able to catch the culprits though.

    2 people vandalized Stonehenge the other night. What is this world coming to??

    No sh*t! I tell ya...people are turning to desperate measures in these tough economic times. The robber probably wanted some gas money. Ya know what I mean? Or you guys live in a not-so-nice neighborhood. haha. Of course that's not true! Everybody should install those motion-sensor lights. That'll teach people to hide around corners!
