Attended the Dragon Boat races held at Treasure/Yerba Buena Island. The last time I went there was a couple of years ago. It seemed less crowded than last time but maybe because it was a Sunday afternoon.
It rained half the day on Saturday so that probably put a damper at yesterday's activities. Today was overcast but nowhere near threatening rain. By the time I had arrived to the boat races, they were on the 67th heat. That's a lot of races. I wonder how many total races were expected.

I arrived in the middle of casskicksass's SF Wushu Team's demonstrations. I think. There were three mature men doing their moves (Cass's sifu and others). Following them were a couple of young ladies with the sword. And the last performance was a comedy act by two burly guys. Very silly.

Is that Cass at the far left? Check out those ARMS.
We strolled around. Checked out the booths. Got our face painted and some temporary tattoos in the children's area.
Then the stage performances commenced again.
The Red Panda Acrobat guy. This is probably the third time I've seen his performance around the Bay Area.

Emeryville Taiko Group
We had to skidaddle to get to a dinner in Fremont. This is a shot of eastern San Francisco's skyline and of the Bay Bridge.
I didn't see anyone I knew.
I did see a face that seemed familiar to me. Don't you hate it when you see someone you think you know but can't quite recall the name...or face?
