  This started out as a post in the forum last night but it kept going and going so I figured it oughtta be a blog.... So, here it is in all its mundane glory.
  
  I had a lot of fun shopping yesterday. I rarely ever go. The previous night I even dreamed about the shopping expedition that I was going to embark on the following morning. 
  
  I dreamed that I asked for a riding boot but they didn't have my size (that never happens). I asked the salesperson to call another store to check if they had my size. haha. That's so real. I woke up giddy about going shopping, totally side-stepping my significant other's amorous advances .
  
  So I got myself some new boots but after reviewing my personal inventory of boots at home, I discovered I already owned something similar. hahaha. Isn't that the lamest thing you've ever heard? I forgot what boots I already had in my collection! Well, the new pair from Bandolino are much better in that they're one inch higher/taller at the calf (not the heel), but I think I'll return them. They weren't even on sale, after all.
  
  Then I bumped into an INC fashion show in the (major department) store and there was free coffee being served. Got a cafe mocha and observed the show. There was this one model who wore khaki bermuda shorts (the kind that come down to the knee) w/ black almost-knee-high, high-heeled boots. Can I pull that look off? Bermuda shorts w/ boots? Spring/summer shorts with fall/winter boots? Methinks if I did that look, others would opine it was a fashion faux-pas. Who cares what others think, right?
  
  Went through a couple of other departments and picked up a couple of garments. I felt obligated to take advantage of the store discount afforded to new store credit card owners. Too bad I couldn't find a nice bikini (50% off).
