    Well I got around to finally getting to work on my scrīpt yesterday. I've finished episode 2, and currently starting on episode 3. YEA!!!!!! New outcome, I personally love my schemes...haha

    Well I remembered that I had some moon cakes in the frige from visiting LA. They were so nice and fresh!!! Totally love it!!!

    They're the veggi style = no yolks. Red bean and Lotus seed paste. Yummers!

    Sorry no pics, the crust or whatever you call it is falling apart too much. Plus there isn't really a fancy design on it at all.

    I remember when I was little kid, a box of moon cakes costs like $5 bucks or 10 tops. Now I'm looking at them with wide eyes. $20-100+.... How I miss the olden days...

    Man I wish I was at my Golden Bakery, get those nice red bean mochis!!!so yummy!!! *slurp*

    So in saying that. What are your guys faviorte kind of moon cake???? With yolk or no yolk??

     

    oh.....my mentioning mochis, is making me hungry!!!

    ya, mochi's are great.  and ya, i hate the eggs in the mooncakes.

    I don't think I've ever had a mochi. Eek.

    Tonight had a frozen red-been bar. It was all right but the milk and sugar pretty much hid the red bean taste.

    oh... I know its bad, but I love the yolk... if I can, I get the one with 4 yolks in it... =X

    but I agree, they are freakin' expensive these days... =(

    I love 冰皮月餅. I don't think they sell the good ones (like the ones you can get in HK) here. Ooh...I also like the ones from Haagen Daaz that has a mango as the yolk from HK. I can't get that in the states either. I usually don't eat mooncake. When I do it was to be 聖安娜’s 雙黃白連容. I hate the ones with nuts.

    I once bought a box of Lotus paste with seeds in it. That was the best I ever had. But now it's up to like 30 bucks after 2 yrs...*drops dead*

    I think it's Lotus seed??? *nods head*

    Oh mochis with red bean, black sesame, mung bean....*drools* I want me mochi!!!! hehe

    Small mooncakes. No eggs. The Lotus root kind...Is it lotus root? Not so sweet is preferred.
