Superstitions with cats

Well just wanted some input if you've got any or some things you've got from hearsay or personal experience.

This post is regarding cats and what they do to ppl with bad dreams. Currently I was told by my sister that her daughter, DD my niece has gotten rid of all of her nightmares, due to her getting a siemese cat. Well actually that cat just lessened those nightmares. But when she had kittens 4, all of the nightmares are now gone. She doesn't get them any more.

The thing is, before they got the cat, I always noticed a dark aurora around/on DD. But lately I've seen her before the cat had kittens, that aurora seemed to have vanished. The other thing is that, my sister isn't scared to be alone in her place anymore now too since they got the cat.  Before the cat, she said that it always seemed like there was someone or something in the house watching her, like a creepazoid. A ghost maybe?

The only thing I know about superstitions and cats is, if a black cat jumps over a coffin the corpse will come to life. Eh...ya...haha but if I believe in it, really don't. Unless I see it my self.

So all you cat ppl, do tell, has anything like this ever happened before?
