Lost star Daniel Dae Kim has been arrested for driving under the influence in Hawaii. The actor, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon in the hit series, was stopped by police at around 3am on Thursday (this means he was boozing it up on Wednesday evening, my frenzz) in Honolulu where the show is filmed, according to local newspaper the Honolulu Advertiser. Kim was booked at the Honolulu Police station and was released at 5:05 am after posting bail, although full details of the arrest have not been released. It marks the latest in a string of DUI-related arrests to plague the Lost cast in Hawaii - cast mates Cynthia Watros and Michelle Rodriguez both pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in January 2007 and April 2006 respectively.

I don't normally pay attention to any news about Hollywood celebs. Don't give a crap about them really. DDK stands out only because he was recently mentioned and photographed with the AnD team. I don't watch Lost nor care one iota about any of the cast. I think, eventually, all of the cast members will have been arrested for DUI sooner or later. Hey, it's only season 4 (?) of Lost.

Also...
I don't get the thought about how island-life leads some people to over-indulge in alcohol or drugs. That's crapola. I think if one's susceptible to substance abuse where it's available, it doesn't matter if one lives on an (big) island or on the mainland.

Anyway, hope he doesn't have a personal demon with which to contend.

What will make people stop doing this? Too many people have been hurt or killed because of drunk driving. I watch Lost but it's getting kind of crazy. I don't get why people find DDK attractive. There are far better looking Korean actors than him but at least there are Asians on that show.

njoy Lost even if I don't understand it. What I like most is putting together an unrelated group of people and the dynamics it creates.

Daniel screwed up and got caught. It could happen to anyone who goes out for the evening and drinks. I didn't read his blood-alcohol content nor did I read if he was snagged because of erratic driving or an accident or that he hurt anyone or anything. Maybe he was just a hair over the legal limit which is now .8 in PA---that doesn't require excessive behavior IMO. His apology was contrite.

Do you think he was at the film festival parties, maybe with the AnD crew?

haha!! LOST has too many ideas...from monters and then they just have the camp with electronics?? what the.....it fits the title... LOST

Yes that 's very true what you say. I don't think anyone will ever learn to see that drink can be equally as dangerous as smoking.

I never understood Lost, I couldn't get my head around the polar bears and I tried I gave it nearly all of season 1, I guess It lost me with it's ideas.
