Job Hunting: Up for Hire!

Well job hunting is a FREAKING PAIN!!!

So last week Friday after I get home, I noticed on the internship website that there is a new posting that was made Tuesday of the same week. I'm interested and I do qualify, first thing I'm told about that internship position is that it's filled today right when I go into the office this morning. CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still waiting for an interview for a regular bookeeping intern position, and I need to e-mail another person my resume and cover letter, a copy of my letter of recommendation...epp.... I don't know what to do. The lady told me that internships for acct are coming up short because of the economy. I can vouche for that! Although there are a bunch loads of internship positions for IS majors....this sucks majorly! like 10 accting intern positions open vs 60 other accting students looking for a internship this semester...OMG....

I'll do it for free! It doesn't matter about the pay, all that matters is the experience!

Anyone up for hiring an accounting intern??? Experience: working in offices, customer services, handling of cash and inventory, sales, data entry, faxing, copying, etc....Couses completed related to accounting: Financial, Managerial/Cost, and Forensic accounting. Currently taking Tax accounting and Accounting Info Systems.

Great analytical, detail oriented skills, hard working, reliable, trustful, and goal oriented person.

Okay okay....I'll go to the Fed. Gov Job Ops Fair tomorrow. Don't know what I'll find but hopefully something.
