Strange noises

So this was Sunday night, 6:45pm or so, I'm going to my car with my luggage of clothes and hangers and stuff to go back to Fresno to get ready for another interview and school which started today...

It's pitch black outside, I get to my car, "Buurp!" Huh, where did that come from??? Look around, listen closely, nothing, pop the trunk, heard a flapping noise above me and again "Buurp!" same burp and above me where the flapping was actually occuring.  I'm scared shitless!

What kinda bird like thing makes a burp noise?? I run like the wind into the house slam the door shut and yell out, there's SOMETHING OUT THERE!!!!!

Family looks at me, what in the world? Are you high? Type of look. I told them what it sounded like and with the wings and everything. All in all, I forgot I still had my business suit in my hand still. Mom looks at me..oh ya... You want me to help you go out there with a light and escort you? lol I nodded yes.

She got a flash light came out with me, she's trying to listen to what I heard, nothing...It was gone!

Yes, as a 24 yr old adult....I'm still pretty scared of the dark, it just depends...my sister comes out and just laughs....I can't help it if X-Files makes me have such a HUGE dark imagination....I'm still scared from time to time...
