Update, what a surprise!!!

If you've been reading the news....you know my father is back home...Yayers!!!!

Well he finally called home last night to tell us to pick him up. But he also told us to bring the Truck. So that striked up a question mark in all of us. My mom was "oh!!!"...."He got you a present!!" I was like eh...I doubt it, must be his meds or something else. When we got to the bus stop we waited for a while. Then the bus pulled up, first thing I start doing is scanning the bus to see where my father is seated. I spot him, I wave and smile, I actually start jumping...hehehe and he waves back with a Huge smile on his face. I continue watching him, get up, walk, walk down the steps and HUG!!!! then he walks off into the bus station. lol But he told us to watch for his bags, and be careful with them, there's something fragile and long in there.

So we watch as the old bus man driver unloads the cargo, very few, he whacks the long bag my dad told us to watch over on the side of the cargo bin. ......I thought it wasn't much of a big whack...it was really not that bad.

So we went to meet up with my dad at the bus station headcourters.  We picked up his bags, I picked up the long one. I unzipped a little of it. Wood I see and some really nice carvings on the side of it. Then I go, "Oh SNAP!!! He got me a ghu Zhen!!!" hahaha...and he got my sister a Eh Rhu. I think thats how you spell both of them. I'll get pics of them up later for you guys.

But the bad part is when I opened the whole bag up to reveal the entire ghu zhen, I looked at the bottom of the bag. I saw some pieces. I took them out and asked my dad. He got mad and paused for a second. The whack seemed to have damaged my ghu zhen. *Sigh* I need to re-string it. and I only have strings up from 1-10. But I also need 11-21, which I need to re-string it. Because the airport or anyone else who handled it seemed to have damaged the strings pretty badly. The parts can be just glued back on. It's not really that bad. But I can't learn to play it without all of the strings up and operational.

Hopefully they have the strings in LA so I don't need to look too far. Please tell me they do.... if you know where I can get some, please do tell. :)

The eh Rhu...I'm about to be going deaf here..my sister and my dad are trying to play it....Deaf I tell ya!!! *screams* I can't hear my self!!! *screams in agony*

Another string is breaking...I wonder how long it'll last til it's not operational...and it's the best sounding one too...darn...
